Elementary, Middle and High School students are also encouraged to schedule a Shadow Day with us during the school year. This is the best way for potential students to get a feel for what student-life is like at Wichita Christian School. Please contact Admissions to set up a day to shadow.

Ready to Apply?

APPLY ONLINE TO WICHITA CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

  1. CREATE AN ADMISSIONS PARENT ACCOUNT 
    • Using the link, create an Admissions Parent Account by entering your email and clicking "Create Account".
    • Create only 1 account for your family. You do not need to create an account for every student in your family. 
    • This account is only used for the application portion of the Enrollment Process but make sure you write down your username and password because you will have the flexibility to log in and out of your account to access your open application.
    • *If you have already created an account, you may skip to Step #3.* 
  2. VERIFY YOUR ACCOUNT 
    • After creating your account, you will receive a verification email. Look for an email from admissions@wichitachristian.com with the subject line "Welcome to Online Application".
    • Click on "Verify Account" in the email to activate your account. This link should open a new browser window where you can log in to your account. 
  3. LOG IN TO YOUR ACCOUNT 
    • Using this Admissions Parent Login link, log in to your account by entering your username and password. 
    • If you ever forget your password when trying to login, simply click "Forgot Your Password" and a temporary password will be emailed to you.
  4. COMPLETE A NEW STUDENT APPLICATION 
    • Once logged in, find and select the option to create a new student application for your child.  
    • Fill out the required information on each page. 
      •  A green check mark will appear in each section on the left menu once a section is complete.
      •  A yellow exclamation point indicates that some of the required information is missing from a section.
    • Provide the following names and emails for Recommendation Forms
      • Teacher(s)
      • Principal
      • Minister
    • Upload all required supplemental documents
      • Report Cards for the current year and previous year
      • Standardized Test Scores
      • IEP/504, if applicable
      • Diagnostic/Psych Evaluation, if applicable
    • Pay the non-refundable $50 application fee.  
    • Once all required information is completed and the application fee has been paid, submit the application. 
    • If you have multiple students for which you are applying, complete the application for one student first. When you begin the next application, the system will recognize much of the information from the first application so you will notice the fields will pre-populate with your subsequent students. 

After your application, supplemental documents, and the application fee are submitted, you should receive an email verifying that your application has been submitted. Our Admissions Team will review the information, and an email will be sent with regards to the next steps of the Enrollment Process. 

  • Preschool students will create their Family Portal and begin the Enrollment Packet, unless an assessment is deemed necessary.
  • Kindergarten students will need to schedule and complete a Kinder Screening.
  • Transitional Kindergarten and all elementary student files will be reviewed by our Admissions Team.
  • Secondary students (6-12th grade) will need to schedule and complete an interview with the Admissions Team.

DOCUMENTS YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE IN YOUR APPLICATION:

  • Diagnostic/Psych Evaluation, if necessary
  • Recommendations from: 
    • Minister 
    • Principal
    • Teacher(s)
    • You will only need to provide the name and email for each of the recommendations
  • Previous School Records
    • report cards for the current year and previous year
    • standardized test scores
    • IEP/504


Wait Pool Information: If you child meets the admission requirements but no seat is available, we will offer to place your child in a Wait Pool. When/If a seat becomes available, the most qualified student will be offered admission. If you already have children enrolled in Wichita Christian School, every attempt will be made to admit a new student. 

Special Education Needs:  In order to set up our students for academic success, Wichita Christian School carefully considers each applicant to make certain that we are able to meet their individual needs. At this time, Wichita Christian School is unable to provide appropriate educational experiences for students with certain learning disabilities, serious emotional or social problems, or severe handicaps. If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Office.


All new students are accepted on a 90 day behavioral and academic probation. During this time, their conduct, scholarship, and tuition balance will be monitored. Continued enrollment is dependent on acceptable levels of attendance, behavior, psychological maturity, and academic achievement. WCS reserves the right to refuse admittance or re-admittance based on deficiencies or non-compliance in any of these areas. At the conclusion of of the 90-day probationary period, administration will meet with the parents and the student to evaluate the success of the student. All currently enrolled students are subject to a re-evaluation for continued enrollment.
